Biography
Passionate about sports since his youth, Marc-André Brisebois is now a professional stuntman with nearly 20 years of experience, a national rally driver, a Jiu-Jitsu world champion, and a national champion in Side by Side. He has worked on several major American productions, appearing in over 50 renowned films and series, including X-Men, John Wick, XXX, and Bon Cop, Bad Cop. He has also dubbed leading actors such as Joaquin Phoenix, Tom Holland, Josh Hutcherson, and Louis-José Houde.
Marc-André has always been a true daredevil since childhood. At just 15 years old, he began his career as a circus performer and trampolinist, performing on various stages around the world. These live shows allowed him to learn how to perform under pressure and prepare him to achieve one of his greatest dreams: becoming a professional stuntman. A dream he's had since the age of 10, inspired by his idol, Jackie Chan. Now, that dream has led him to star in the upcoming Karate Kid film, scheduled for release next year.
But his talent isn't limited to film. A seasoned driver, he fulfilled another dream in 2018 by winning his first national rally championship behind the wheel of a Side by Side. Since then, he has become one of the top drivers in the Canadian Rally Championship, now competing in the Open Class category behind the wheel of his Subaru.
At 30, he discovered a new passion: Jiu-Jitsu. True to himself, he surrounded himself with the best, including Lee Villeneuve, multiple world champion and iconic figure in the combat sport. Last December, he won the world championship title at the World Championships in Las Vegas—a feat all the more remarkable because it came after a serious injury. During an extreme stunt—an 11-story jump from a bridge—he suffered a complete dislocation of his right knee, requiring major surgery to reconstruct all of his ligaments.
Taking on challenge after challenge, it's no surprise that Marc-André is now considered the Quebec version of Jackie Chan, where his success combines daring and a touch of madness all his own.
And for the record… He has suffered more than 40 broken bones, but thanks to his resilience and unwavering passion, he remains more motivated than ever to push boundaries. You will now see him at school conferences, where he shares his knowledge and experience to inspire young people to take action and tap into their inner strength.
